Porter Bee Escape

The Porter Bee Escape is a simple, chemical-free device for clearing bees from honey supers before harvest. Its two angled, one-way exit channels let bees travel down into the brood boxes but make it hard for them to return, leaving the honey super mostly empty within hours.

At a glance

• Type: One-way bee escape for honey supers
• Exits: Two angled one-way channels
• Operation: Chemical-free, no fumes or repellents
• Installation: Fits over the hole in a standard inner cover
• Speed: Clears bees within hours when used the same day

Best for

• Clearing honey supers before harvest
• Beekeepers who want a chemical-free method
• Keeping honey pure and the hive undisturbed
• Same-day super removal

How to use

Attach the bee escape over the inner cover hole and place the inner cover directly beneath the honey boxes you plan to remove. Bees travel down through the one-way channels and cannot easily return. Install and remove within the same day, since bees may eventually find their way back if left too long.
