How to grow

Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost and transplant after the soil has warmed. Space plants about 18 to 24 inches apart in full sun with well-drained soil. Water consistently and harvest green for roasting or let ripen to red for a sweeter chile.

Flavor profile

Mild and rich with the warm, roasted flavor that defines a good New Mexico green chile.
