Pressed into the pre-drilled holes of wedge top and split bottom frames, they give cross-wires a smooth metal surface to rest against, preventing the wire from cutting into the wood and helping hold even tension across wax foundation.

At a glance

Type: Frame wiring eyelets (grommets)

Material: Brass

Fits: Pre-drilled sidebar holes on wedge top and split bottom frames

Designed for: Wax foundation frames, not plastic foundation

Use with: Wiring jigs, crimpers, and other frame assembly tools

Sold in: Multiple pack sizes

Best for

Beekeepers assembling wooden frames with wax foundation

Building durable frames that resist sagging and bowing over time

Cross-wiring deep or medium frames for straight comb

Hobbyists and sideliners wiring frames in batches

How to use

Press an eyelet into each pre-drilled hole in the frame sidebar before wiring.
