Madeline's coffee collection brings together specialty, small-batch coffee from independent roasters like Feliciana Coffee, including single-origin Colombian lots, women-farmer and ethically sourced beans, and chemical-free decaf. Most coffees are offered as whole bean or ground in 12 oz bags, with light and medium roasts that highlight the origin's character. Whether you want a single-origin to explore, a reliable everyday medium roast, or a clean decaf, you can shop by roast, format, and origin here.

How to choose

  • Pick your roast level. Light roasts taste brighter and more fruit-forward; medium roasts are balanced and approachable; choose by how bold you like your cup.
  • Whole bean or ground. Whole bean stays fresher and lets you grind to fit your brewer; ground is ready to use if you do not have a grinder.
  • Single-origin vs. blend. Single-origin coffees show the flavor of one farm or region; blends aim for consistency and balance.
  • Match grind to your method. Coarser grinds suit French press, medium suits drip, and fine suits espresso. Buy whole bean if you switch methods.
  • Decaf options. Look for chemical-free processes like the E.A. (sugarcane) method if you want decaf without solvents.

Frequently asked questions

Is whole bean or ground coffee better? Whole bean keeps its flavor longer because grinding exposes more surface to air. If you have a grinder, whole bean and grinding just before brewing gives the freshest cup; ground coffee trades a little freshness for convenience.

How should I store coffee to keep it fresh? Keep it in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture, and use it within a few weeks of opening. Avoid the fridge, where coffee can pick up odors and condensation.

What is single-origin coffee? Single-origin means the beans come from one country, region, or farm rather than being blended across origins. It tends to express a distinct flavor tied to where it was grown.

Does decaf coffee taste different? Good decaf made with clean processing can taste very close to regular coffee. Methods like the E.A. process remove caffeine without chemical solvents while preserving much of the flavor.
